My Black Friday Purchases, Part 1: The Little Black Dress

On Black Friday, I purchased a couple of items from Peacock Parade's Black Friday sale. Both items have arrived, but this post is for the BIG ITEM, a black Greta Constantine dress. The dress's very different look from what I typically purchase as well as the deep discount (original price, according to Peacock Parade was just under $1,200 - bought it at $269 before taxes) both caught my eye.

Bare Legs or Leggings?

I recently bought a long top/short dress from petite-friendly brand AIME (I couldn't zip up the XS past my waist.  Must be a ribcage issue. This dress is a S), which I've actually had my eye on for a few seasons.  I first saw this at LG Fashion Week in 2009.  The fit is very snug, but at the same time, gives me more of an hourglass shape (which I LOVE!).  However, sometimes I feel like it's a tad bit too short.  Do you think it's too short?  Should I wear leggings (or are they peggings?) or not?

442 McAdam Hobo Bag

I recently received my new Hobo bag from 442 McAdam, which I purchased back in the fall. This bag, which measures about 17" at its widest point is perfect for travelling (after all, you need to carry a camera, phone, wallet, passport, etc, etc...).  It also comes with regular handles as well as a longer strap so the bag can be worn diagonally...
